Custom Handmade Quilt Orders

Pricing for fully made custom quilts is quoted on a case by case basis. I try and keep the prices as close to the prices of my pre-made quilts as possible, but depending on the fabrics you choose, your quilt could run considerably higher (i.e. a lot of batiks or hand-dyed fabrics).

The most common up charges are listed below. Custom quilt orders require a 50% non-refundable deposit with the balance due when completed. If a custom quilt order is placed on the layaway plan the quilt will be started as soon as 1/2 the total has been paid.

We Accept checks and all major Credit Cards through Paypal. No returns on custom orders.

Any custom quilt orders with a remaining balance after 30 days of completion become the property of Mother's Unique Designs.

Keep in mind that Custom Orders can take anywhere from 3 weeks to 4 months to complete, depending on the size and design complexity. Prices are for cotton batting. Cotton/Wool blend batting and Luxury Cotton/Silk battings are available by request for an additional charge.

For Cotton/Wool batting, add $5

For Cotton/Silk batting, add $15

For 100% Silk batting, add $30

For Amish Wedding Ring Quilts, add $15.

For Applique quilts (i.e. Sun Bonnet Sue), add $20.

For designs with the majority being specialty fabrics (i.e. hand dyed, toile, batiks), add $150
