Machine quilting will finish those tops you have pieced or were left to you by someone special. Your quilt top will be given the same care we give our own. Unlike many quilting services, our quilting is done on an antique 1901 treadle machine (unless your quilting desires require something other than a straight stitch or requires embroidery outlines) by marking the top with a removable medium, sewing the design out following the pattern and then removing the medium.
We can provide batting and backing for an additional charge, or you can provide your own. Our battings are either Warm and Natural, Warm and White, Warm and Black, or Hobbs Heirloom. We use 100% cotton backings in either a natural (cream) or white. If you want a specific color or pattern for your backing, we can piece the backing for you if you include the fabric.
A deposit of 50% of the fees is to be included with your quilt. The balance will be billed when it is completed. Turn around time for quilting only is 3-5 weeks. Quilts needing to have quilting taken out or quilts with bindings take longer. Email us to reserve your place on our schedule.
Quilting Prices are based on square yards in the quilt top. The minimum charge is $25.
