Quilts can be the most treasured family heirlooms. They can also have the most visible signs of wear. Binding fray, tied quilt come untied, quilting works loose, they become stained, and in some cases even holes can develop. We know how important a quilt may be to a person or their family. That is why we now offer our quilting skills to breath life back into tired quilts.

Lone Star Quilt with Celestial setting Our quilt designer can repair quilts that have worn areas, areas that have frayed at the edges, areas that have dry rotted and/or need to be replaced due to staining, etc. We can replace bindings and if you wish, we can cut down a quilt that has bad areas around the edge in order to make a smaller more usable quilt. We can re-quilt areas that have been damaged. We have the skill to take a worn tired quilt and make it strong enough to be used caringly for the remainder of its life.

We have several suppliers for fabrics who carry reproductions of older fabrics, but even in those cases sometimes it is just not possible to locate the exact fabric in a quilt. In those cases we will match it as closely as possible for color values, or give you the option of replacing that fabric in the entire quilt if it is possible.
